Members Bio.

2000 Scott Gehringer

Scott Gehringer - Class of 2000

Scott graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2000 where he participated in golf, basketball and baseball. He was a 3 year letterman in golf, a 2 year letterman in basketball and a 3 year letterman in baseball. He earned the following awards: In Golf, Scott earned PAC-10 All- League 1st Team in 1997 and earned PAC-10 Honorable Mention in 1998. In Basketball, Scott earned All-PAC-10 honors in 1999 & 2000 and during his Junior year was selected to the All-Tournament team at both the Quakertown Tip-Off Tournament and Southern Lehigh Christmas Tournament, In Baseball, Scott earned PAC-10 2nd  team All-League honors in 1999 & 2000 and was selected to represent Upper Perk in the 1999 East/West All-Star game. Scott received Team MVP honors for Golf in 1999, MVP Honors in Basketball in 1999 & 2000 and MVP honors in Baseball in 2000. In 2000, Scott received the All-Around Athlete Award at the Blue & Gold Banquet. Scott was also a member of the 1998 Bux-Mont American Legion regular season championship team and the 1999 Bux-Mont American Legion play off championship team. In 2000, Scott was selected to play in the Bux-Mont All-Star game and was selected 1st team All-Bux-Mont.


After high school, Scott attended the St. Joseph’s University for two years before transferring to LaSalle University where he graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. While at the LaSalle University, Scott garnered much success as a member of the Explorers baseball team. Scott led the LaSalle baseball team in RBI’s, slugging percentage and batting average during the 2004 season and received Athlete of Week honors during his senior year.

 After graduating from college, Scott continued to participate in baseball and basketball throughout the community as a member of the Upper Perk Chiefs Tri County baseball team where he earned several All-Star selections, Scott also participated in the Upper Perk Adult basketball league during the summers.
Scott was a successful student-athlete both in high school and college and has represented Upper Perkiomen High School and the community with high values in athletics and academics.
