1994 Katherine Schubert

Katherine Schubert - Class of 1994

Kate graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1994. She earned two varsity letters in field hockey, three letters each in both basketball and softball. Kate earned the MVP Award in both field hockey and basketball her senior year. He also was the recipient of the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and the All Around/Outstanding Athlete Award. Also as a senior, Kate earned All League honors in all three sports. Kate graduated from Alvernia College in 1999 with a Degree in Elementary Education. She earned All League honors at Alvernia in field hockey, basketball and softball. As a freshman, she was the leading rebounder in basketball and had the third highest batting average in the nation for NCAA Division III Softball. As a sophomore, Kate led the basketball team in both scoring and rebounding. As a junior, Kate led the field hockey team in scoring and earned Offensive MVP honors. Later that year Kate’s athletic career ended due to an injury.
